ZOMBIE ART – Zombie Magnets for the Fridge
by z on Mar.09, 2011, under Art
Always a fan of Zombie Art found these wicked Zombie Magnets over at http://idrawzombies.com/zombie-magnets/. Theres 2 to choose from and they only cost 5 buck a piece (plus a buck shipping)
Are you tired of the boring old magnets you get for free from the bank you trust your money with? Does that lame ass magnet from the plumber who overcharged you keep falling off? Not enough letter magnets left to spell anything funny anymore? Why not bring some undead to that blasé fridge of yours and hold up your kids artwork in a much more interesting way.
Zombie Theatre Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom
by z on Feb.28, 2011, under Art

Glass Mind Theatre presents Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, a new play by Jennifer Haley. Glass Mind is excited to bring this thrilling piece to Baltimore for the first time.
Neighborhood 3 explores the consequences when teenagers of a perfect suburban subdivision become obsessed with a violent video game that uses satellite images of their own neighborhood as the game’s setting. As the teens get closer to defeating the army of zombies – some of whom look remarkably like their parents – the line between real and virtual life begins to blur.
This will be the third play in Glass Mind’s Season One, which is designed to explore the connections we make: interpersonal, intrapersonal, and, in the case of Neighborhood 3, techno-personal. GMT Artistic Director Andrew Peters says, “I’m extremely excited for this company to tackle Haley’s work, not only because it’s an extremely well-written, darkly comic play, but because it uses a technological phenomenon to examine modern suburban disconnect.”
